The King's Gaze

Original 900mm x 600mm acrylic and mixed media painting on canvas with a gloss varnish

This eye-catching mixed-media painting commands attention with its powerful pop art aesthetic. A majestic gorilla, rendered in rich red acrylics, stares out with an expression of quiet dominance, crowned with an opulent gold-leaf tiara adorned with sparkling polished acrylic jewels. The textured paste adds depth to the piece, giving the crown a tactile, three-dimensional quality that enhances its regal allure. Bold, dramatic, and unapologetically unique, this artwork is a statement piece perfect for those who admire strength, individuality, and a touch of playful extravagance.
