Last Light Over the Park

Medium: Oil on canvas
Size: (900mm x 600mm)

Last Light Over the Park captures the fleeting moment when the sky begins to close its eyes — soft pastel light leaking through brooding clouds, held for just a breath before night falls. Inspired by a sunset witnessed in a quiet park, this abstract landscape uses layered, gestural brushstrokes in moody blues, pinks, and golds to evoke the feeling of watching the world shift at the edges.

Beneath the drama of the sky lies a thin, grounded band of silhouetted trees and open grass — steady, silent, and familiar. A balance of chaos and calm.
